Cardano’s Midnight Glacier Drop is now scheduled for July 16th according to various sources. This means a Partnerchain to Cardano with, according to Charles Hoskinson will have over a $10 Billion Market Capitalization is being dropped to the holders on not only Cardano, but 37 million wallets across a total of 8 Chains.
Who’s Eligible Holders of: • ADA • BTC • ETH • SOL • XRP • BNB • AVAX • BAT Only main L1 tokens count. CNTs and NFTs are excluded.
The Snapshot was taken on June 11th, 2025 - This means, your airdrop is based on the tokens you were holding on that date.
Exchanges vs Self Custody
Assets had to be in a non-custodial wallet at snapshot time. CEX users may qualify only if the exchange claims on their behalf. This means, if an exchange got the airdrop, its up to them to distribute the tokens to you and they may not. If they do not, you may want to use another exchange.
Daedalus Users: To claim your NIGHT tokens, you’ll just need to import your seed phrase into a Wallet such as Lace or Eternl, etc. Once you’ve claimed your tokens, you’ll be good to go.
